Name of Event/Activity: Project Feed-A-Family 2019
Location: 1054 Gateway Blvd, Suite 103, Boynton Beach, FL 33426
Hours: 10:00 am – 2: 00 pm
Details of Volunteer Activity: Before event, need help spreading the word about the event and the funds we need to raise (donations needed) to distribute 1,000 buckets of food. At the event, we need help to distribute 5-gallon buckets of food to needy families, elders, & disabled individuals, direct traffic, assist applicants to fill out an application for Food Assistance.

Pompey Park Pool in Delray Beach is looking to recruit some youth volunteers that need community service. We are a fun and learning pool environment! Youth volunteers assist Pompey pool staff at swim lessons as a swim instructor aide, assist in various Aquatic events, and assist as a Pool ambassador. We accept ages 10-17 years old. Limited positions available in the Aquatic Division.

Be Kind Project (1 Bag = 1 Hour), Gift Wrapping, and Tutoring!

PBCCAN is proud to announce its latest project – Be Kind! We are partnering with Restoration Bridge International in the hopes of donating 800 bags this holiday season. 1 bag equals 1 hour of community service, so this is a perfect opportunity to both rack up hours and help others in the community! Guidelines and directions are listed in the flyer above – remember, be kind this holiday season!

Volunteer your wrapping skills to help bring cheer this holiday season to shoppers at The Gardens Mall. Your dedication brings awareness to The Arc of Palm Beach County and its vision of a community where every person feels welcome, connected and well cared for. Shoppers will receive complimentary gift wrap services while they wait in our festive lounge and all proceeds benefit The Arc of Palm Beach County. Custom mosaics and artwork, made by The Arc Artisans, will also be on sale in the Holiday Suite.

Details of Volunteer ActivityTutoring lessons (Math and English) to underprivileged kids from grades K to 6, around Lake worth.  Must be able to provide their own transportation. Receive community service hours!
