Event: 49th Annual Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Date: Friday and Saturday, March 10-11, 2017.
Details: The event is family-friendly and places an emphasis on supporting our first responders and military veterans.
Given the scale and scope of the event, we are in need of over 150 volunteers to ensure the event is successful.

Ibis Food Drive (sponsored by Palm Beach County Food Bank)

Event : Ibis Food Drive Location: Ibis POA (Property Owners Association) building. -Location: 9055 Ibis Boulevard, WPB, FL 33412. first building on your right, immediately after turning into Ibis’s, before security gate.

Details of volunteer activity: The job responsibilities include speaking with the public, walking and handling dogs, monitoring the cattery, working the prize wheel and overseeing the exhibit. An Animal Care and Control employee will be scheduled to work all shifts and will be preparing the adoption paperwork on any animals adopted at the fair. Details of volunteer activity: Many seniors in Palm Beach County struggle to provide healthy and substantial meals for themselves due to not being able to shop for themselves. Meals on Wheels is a foundation that is helping to solve this problem by delivering packaged meals to seniors a couple times every week. If you have a car and a license you will be able to deliver the prepackaged meals to the senior’s homes, but there is also the option to package meals which anyone can help with.
